IACET Interactive Webinar, February 1st 2018: “Brain-Based Presenting: Getting the Brain to Pay Attention”

If you haven’t already participated in my free webinar titled “Brain-Based Presenting,”   consider joining me on Thursday, February 1st 2018, for an hour of exciting, brain-based learning. The webinar is sponsored by IACET, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.

IACET is the premier accreditation association that most colleges and businesses use when developing CEUs (Continuing Education Units). IACET is offering this webinar for free to its members and non-members.

My webinar, Brain-Based Presenting: Getting the Brain to Pay Attention, will be held on Thursday, February 1st 2018, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Click on the link above for the webinar description, learning outcomes, and registration information. The handout below accompanies the webinar, so be sure to print it beforehand to use as a note-taking tool, if you’re planning to attend:

IACET Handout 2018

Regardless of whether or not you’re attending the webinar, consider using a note-taking handout, like the one on the link above, for your own training topics. On one side are “Warm-Ups” and “Follow-Ups” – resources for your training participants to explore before and after your training event.

On the other side are note-taking boxes for your participants to fill in. The boxes on my handout are relevant to  my webinar content. My webinar participants will experience and collect more than a dozen brain-based strategies to use with any audience and any topic.

“Warm-Ups” are resources that help get the brain ready to learn before a training event. Brain-scientists call these “priming” activities.

“Follow-Ups” are resources that help move new learning into long-term memory. Brain scientists call these “spaced practice” activities.

Both “Warm-Ups” and “Follow-Ups” are important parts of successful, brain-based instruction, whether online or face-to-face.

I hope you will join me for a highly interactive, unique, and unforgettable brain-based learning experience on February 1st 2018.

If you really really like knowing the “cognitive neuroscience” behind brain-based presenting and training, consider attending my 2-day  “Training from the BACK of the Room” class – the only public TBR class that I will be facilitating for Spring/Summer 2018. The class will be held in Minneapolis MN on April 12th – 13th 2018. Click HERE for details and registration information (there are still seats left). Click HERE for a calendar of all TBR classes for 2018 (classes are being added monthly so check back).

I will also be facilitating the 1-day Trainer Certification Course following the 2-day TBR class in Minneapolis.  This 1-day Trainer Certification Course will give you everything you need to be able to present the “official” 2-day TBR class for your own clients, customers, companies, and educational institutions. (Note: You must have attended a 2-day TBR class in order to attend the 1-day Trainer Certification Course.)

As of now, the dates for the April 2018 Trainer Certification Course are sold out. However, there is a wait-list and, if enough people are interested, the sponsoring company (The Braintrust Consulting Group) may open up another Cert Course day.

Click HERE for more information and registration/sign-up for the wait-list for the April 2018 Trainer Certification Course.

Don’t forget to check out the free give-aways on my website’s  “What’s New?” page while you’re here 🙂 And please pass this information along to anyone who is interested in exciting, unforgettable, learner-centered, brain-based instruction.
