The Virtual TBR-VE® Class
(TBR-VE® is a registered US trademark)
In this practical and interactive 5-module virtual class, you’ll explore current “brain science” as it relates to human learning in virtual environments. You’ll discover 6 specific brain-science principles and a 4-step instructional design model that you can use in your own virtual teaching and training. And you’ll leave with dozens of new ideas, activities, resources, and a new “Gold Standard” for virtual instruction and learning.
The class consists of five 2.5 hour live-streaming modules (a total of 12.5 hours of class time usually spaced over 2 – 3 weeks). There are also about 2 hours of independent “homework” assignments between each module. Upon completion of the class and the assignments, you will receive a TBR-VE® Class “Certificate of Completion” and will be invited to become a member of the global TBR Practitioners Group on Slack.
After your active participation in the TBR-VE® Class, you will be able to:
* Apply 6 The Six Trumps™ brain-science principles to any virtual/remote training you facilitate;
* Use the 4Cs Map to design/deliver brain-based virtual instruction;
* Create virtual classes that combine your own topic and materials with the brain-based concepts and strategies from the class;
* Choose from dozens of virtual brain-based learning activities;
* Become an active member of the TBR Practitioners Group on Slack.

To attend the TBR-VE® Class, you will need:
* The book “Training from the BACK of the Room” in either digital or paperback format. The book is available for purchase on Amazon.com and the digital version is included in the registration fee for most classes.
* A computer (desktop or laptop; the class is NOT designed for digital tablet or cell phone).
* Live-streaming camera capability and an adequate sound system.
* A printed copy of the TBR-VE® Participant Workbook that you will receive digitally upon registration.
* Miscellaneous analog materials: sticky notes, sharpies/markers, blank paper, pen/pencil.
NOTE: Attending the TBR-VE® Class does not certify you to present the class. See below for the TBR-VE® Class certification requirements.
To become certified to present the TBR-VE® Class, you must:
1. Attend the official 2-day in-person TBR Practitioner Class and receive a “TBR Practitioner Certificate of Completion.”
2. Attend the official 1-day in-person Trainer Certification Course (TCC), complete all the required assignments, successfully pass the in-person “exam,” and receive your TCC Certification and License which includes a Letter of Agreement.
3. Successfully complete the 8 steps of the TBR-VE® “Certification and Licensing” requirements, receive your TBR-VE® Certification and License which includes a Letter of Agreement. For the Certification and License requirements, contact one of the TBR-VE® Certifiers below.
NOTE: To keep your TBR-VE® Certification, must present at least one TBR-VE® Class (public or private) within two years of receiving your certification. Contact the TBR-VE® Certifiers below for more information.

The In-Person TBR Practitioner Class
The official 2-day in-person “Training from the BACK of the Room” (TBR) Practitioner Class is a globally-acclaimed, interactive, skills-building train-the-trainer class for anyone who is a trainer, teacher, instructor, coach, or facilitator of learning.
In this 2-day in-person TBR Practitioner Class, you’ll explore how the human brain really learns, which is very different from traditional assumptions about learning. And you’ll be introduced to “cognitive neuroscience” concepts – the brain science behind all effective instructional design and human learning.
During the class, you will:
* Explore The Six Trumps™ – six powerful brain-science principles based on how humans learn best.
* Apply these principles every time you train, teach, instruct, or coach others.
* Experience and collect dozens of interactive instructional strategies that you can use with any topic and any group of learners.
* Use the 4Cs Map – a powerful 4-step instructional design and delivery model – to design any class or training you facilitate.
* Create a training plan specific to a topic you already teach.
* Receive a 55-page participant workbook that is only available with this class, as well as hard copies of the two best-selling books: ”Training from the BACK of the Room!” and “Using Brain Science to Make Training Stick.”
* Receive a TBR Practitioner Certificate of Completion and join the global group of TBR Practitioners who meet on Slack to collaborate with each other and who support one another.
